Today there is a rise in message-oriented films because cinema is proving to be a powerful medium to communicate and inspire the people to their part for society. To make a feminist statement, filmmaker Gowtham M is coming up with a content-driven film titled ‘Sirimalle Puvva’, starring
Narendra and Mamatha in lead roles.
Etela Rajender, the Finance Minister of
Telangana launched the film at a grand event in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Vakulabharanam Krishna Mohan Rao, one of the members of the BC Commission and Gogikar Sudhakar were also present at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the director said that though this is a message-oriented film, it has enough commercial elements to give the audience goosebumps. They reportedly tried to touch upon relevant social issues based on real-life events.
Surya, Prabhakar and Firoj will crank the camera while Ram Mohan will compose the tunes for the flick.
