Telugu senior actor Vizag Prasad, who is popular for his character artist and villainous roles, passed away in the wee hours of Sunday. According to reports, the actor suffered from a chronic health condition from a long time and breathed his last at around 3 am.

Vizag Prasad is the stage name of Kollam Parvati Varaprasada Rao, who has essayed the character roles in over 175 films in the Telugu film industry. The actor started his career in 1985, with the titular role in the film named 'Babai Abbai', starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Anitha Reddy in lead roles. He is survived by his wife Vidyawati and their two children named Ratna Prabha and
Ratna Kumar
