Telugu version of Karabuu from Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika’s ‘Pogaru’ to be out soon!

Pogaru

has hit the bull’s eye with the masses by clocking in a massive 31 Million views on YouTube. Though the mass number was initially called out for misogyny, it gradually struck the right chord with the netizens for its foot-tapping tune and pacey dance moves by Dhruv. Starring Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, Pogaru is directed by Nanda Kishore. The actioner was supposed to be hit the theaters in March, but owing to COVID-19 crisis and the subsequent lockdown, the proceedings have been postponed.

According to reports, Pogaru is being helmed as a Kannada-Telugu bilingual and the makers are all set to unveil the

Telugu version

of Karabuu song in the coming days. While the original number has been crooned by Chandan Shetty who also wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the film, the Telugu song is sung by Anurag Kulkarni with lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar. Anurag is known for songs like ‘Pilla Raa’ and ‘Ramuloo Ramulaa’.
Apart from a couple of songs, the post-production formalities of Pogaru have been wrapped up. Bankrolled by BK Gangadhar, the film features actors like Dhananjay, Raghavendra Rajkumar and P Ravi Shankar in pivotal roles. In the climax sequence, acclaimed bodybuilders like Kai Greene, Morgan Aste, Johan Lucas, and Jo Linder are expected to make their presence.
