’ is one that is much awaited for obvious reasons, with the film all set for release on June 29.

, the production house recently released a press note by him, writing, “Chooskundaaam!!! ~ A Tharun Bhascker’s note for all the audience...:) #ENEfromJune29th #EeNagaraanikiEmaindi.” (sic) In the press-note the ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director reveals everything that went into making the film that it is today.

In the note, Tharun wrote of how he remembers the time when ‘Pelli Choopulu’ released on July 29, 2016, as if it were yesterday. How he had gone to a theatre to watch the audience react to the film first-hand. He also reveals how Suresh Babu had predicted that his film will run for 100 days, and it did.

Tharun states that it was then that Suresh Babu had instructed him to write a second feature film. After months of panicking, Tharun wrote what he knew best – life, friends and their journey. He also agrees that on the surface the film is “formatted like a universal buddy comedy film but with events that could happen to any of us.” The director reveals that shooting for the film, half of it in Hyderabad and half in Goa, was nothing less than fun.


Previously, explaining the title of the film, Tharun had said, ““Since the film revolves around friends, alcohol & filmmaking, we felt the title "Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi" was apt.” (sic) ‘Ee Nagaraaniki Emaindi’ features Anisha Ambrose, Vishwak Sen, Sai Sushanth, Abhinav Gomatam, Venkatesh Kakumanu and Simran Chowdary.
