'The Girlfriend' box office collections day 5: Rashmika Mandanna’s film crosses Rs 8 crore mark

Rashmika Mandanna’s latest outing 'The Girlfriend', directed by Rahul Ravindran, continues to maintain a decent pace at the box office.


After four strong days, the film has crossed the Rs 8 crore mark in India net collection. As per early estimates from the Sacnilk website, the film earned approximately Rs 80 lakhs on its fifth day, taking its total to Rs 8.03 crore.

The Telugu romantic drama had an overall 23.30% occupancy on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The morning shows registered 16.16%, afternoon 22.89%, evening 24.93%, and night shows peaked at 29.21%.

Day 1 (Friday): Rs 1.3 crore

Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 2.4 crore

Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 2.7 crore

Day 4 (Monday): Rs 83 lakhs

Day 5 (Tuesday): Rs 80 lakhs (early estimate)

This brings the total to Rs 8.03 crore (India net, all languages).

Rashmika on exploring different genres

Rashmika Mandanna recently opened up about her passion for exploring diverse film genres. “Every film is not everyone’s cup of tea. But I still want to be that artist who does a variety of films,” she said in an interview with IANS, naming projects like Kubera, Chaava, and Pushpa among her recent performances.


Calling her journey a “learning process,” Rashmika added, “Like every character, I want a variety of it. That’s the best I can do for my audience.”


Speaking about her purpose as an entertainer, she said, “I want my fans to feel at ease and just enjoy their moment. We have those two and a half, three hours in the theatre to make them disconnect from their everyday life. I feel that’s my responsibility.”
