The actor, who’s known for constantly shooting films back to back, delivering multiple of them per year, got a forced vacation of sorts due to the coronavirus

. After a 6-month-long break, he has now been forced to step out, head to his office to give one web-interview after another to promote his digital-release V. While Mohan Krishna Indraganti’s multi-starrer was supposed to hit theatres in March, the filmmakers have been forced to opt for a digital release after a six month break.

In these six months, Nani has seen his three-year-old grow up first hand. “It’s going to sound weird but this pandemic has almost been like a blessing for me. I was shooting constantly before the lockdown and every few days when I’d come home I’d see that my son Junnu would’ve learnt something new or grown. I always felt like I was missing so much while I was away,” he tells Hyderabad Times, adding, “Due to the pandemic, I have been constantly by his side for six months now. He has gotten so used to me; he asks when I’ll be back even if I head out for a few hours. It’ll be difficult to get back to shoot now.” (laughs)

Numerous celebs took up interesting hobbies during the pandemic, trying out everything from gardening to cooking. When asked if there was something that he picked up during the lockdown, he states, “When lockdown was announced, I believed I finally had time to concentrate on fitness, learn cooking from mom and more. But I never got around to doing any of it, all I did was eat, sleep and spend time with Junnu.”

V, starring Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari released on an OTT platform a few hours ago.
