The 'Dahnam' poster features actor Aditya Om donning an old man get up for the first time. Aditya Om plays the role of a priest who is trying to save an ancient temple in his place. The film is said to have already collected lots of acclaim and awards at various national & International film festivals including two best actor awards for actor Aditya Om.
‘Dahnam’ is written and directed by Adari Murthy Sai that was produced by Dr P. Satish Kumar who has also given the music for this film. The music is also said to have received special applause at the film festivals. Santhi Chandra and FM Babai are seen as other important characters. Though the film is bit artistic, the makers believe that it covers a lot of interesting questions regarding caste, creed, colour and religion which will make it appealing to the mainstream audience also.
The film is said to be a social drama with several unexpected twists and turns that are based on the true events that took place in the 1980s in North Coastal AP. The 2h 17 mins film will be released soon in the theatres which will be communicated officially by its makers.
