'The Raja Saab': Trailer of the Prabhas starrer to unveil with 'Kantara: Chapter 1' theatrical release - Report

Prabhas' horror comedy flick 'The Raja Saab' has kept fans eagerly awaiting its release. The movie has been delayed multiple times and there's still no clarity regarding the film's theatrical release. On the bright side, as per the latest report, the trailer of the film is expected to release in the theatre along with another much-anticipated film, 'Kantara: Chapter 1'.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers of 'The Raja Saab' are expected to release a new trailer of the film during the release of Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara: Chapter 1', which will be released on October 2 this year. Although it is imperative to add that an official announcement is yet to be made by the makers.

Sankranti box office clash

Earlier, 'The Raja Saab' was announced to release on December 5th, however, it is now speculated to hit the screens during the Sankranti release window on January 9, 2026. However, the date in itself is busy as big-budget films have already announced their release date during the same time. Films like Chiranjeevi's 'Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu' and 'Anaganaga Oka Roju', as well as Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan', are releasing.

About 'The Raja Saab'

Speaking of the film 'The Raja Saab', the movie revolves around a young man who is the heir to a mansion. He aims to claim the property and make a fortune out of it to facilitate funds for his theatre. However, he later realizes it is a haunted mansion filled with dark secrets and sinister spirits.
The film has horror, comedy and action, making it a mass entertainer.

Apart from Prabhas the film includes Nidhhi Agerwal and Sanjay Dutt, with Malavika Mohanan, Brahmanandam, Riddhi Kumar, Yogi Babu, Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, and Boman Irani in key roles.
