Prasanth Varma, who rose to fame after the 2024 'HanuMan', has been in the news over rumours that he made a financial collaboration with multiple banners.
Production house denies speculation
Over the past few days, social media has been buzzing with reports that Prasanth Varma had taken advance payments from multiple production houses following the massive success of 'HanuMan'. Among the names linked to him, was the banner led by producer DVV Danayya, who is known for bankrolling blockbusters like 'RRR' and 'They Call Him OG'.
However, the production house has now dismissed these claims as entirely "false and baseless." The official statement from the production read, "We would like to clarify that the recent speculation regarding advances taken by director Prasanth Varma from DVV Entertainment / Mr. DVV Danayya is completely false and baseless. There has been no financial transaction, agreement, or professional association between Director Prasanth Varma and DVV Entertainment."

The makers also requested media outlets and social media platforms to verify information before spreading unconfirmed reports. "We sincerely request all media outlets, digital platforms and social media pages to verify facts before circulating such misinformation," they added.
