THIS actor was the first choice for Suhas starrer 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka'

Suhas starring 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka' is an upcoming comedy drama film directed by Sandeep Bandla. The makers have been promoting the film as it soon hits theatres on October 12, 2024. Recently the director made a shared insight on the cast of the film.

As per a report by 123Telugu, director Sandeep Bandla who makes his debut in the films revealed that Naga Chaitanya was the first choice for the film in the lead role. He shared that he travelled with the 'Manam' actor for months. However, he was busy with his film 'Love Story' directed by Sekhar Kammula and couldn't do his film. He also shared that during that time filmmaker Dil Raju suggested he cast Suhas for the role.

Speaking about the cast, 'Janaka Aithe Ganaka' features Sangeerthana Vipin as the leading lady. Vijai Bulganin is the film’s music composer.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya has been in the headlines for a while after a controversy erupted when Telangana Minister Konda Surekha made demeaning comments over his divorce with ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

On the work front, Chay is currently working on his biggest project, named, 'Thandel'. The movie is an adventure-thriller with the premise of the film taking inspiration from real life events. In the film, Naga Chaitanya's character is a fisherman who unknowingly drifts apart in the Pakistani waters and gets imprisoned there.

It also stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead which brings back her endeared on-screen chemistry with Naga Chaitanya. The movie's production phase is expected to wrap soon and is likely to release in December 2024.
