Vijay Devarakonda is one of the well known actors of Tollywood, and from his debut 'Nuvvila', the actor has been a national heartthrob, especially after his film 'Geetha Govindam'. The actor's film 'World Famous Lover' which was released in 2020, did not run as expected but still was liked by his fans. Directed by Kranthi Madhav, the movie is a romantic drama.
Vijay Devarakonda played dual roles in the film, however did you know that the 'Kushi' actor was not the first choice for the film? Before Vijay Devarakonda, the director had approached actors Sharwanand and Sai Dharam Tej (Sai Durga Tej). However, third time's a charm, and the role landed with Vijay Devarakonda and he was indeed the third option that the director had in mind to play as the lead actor in 'World Famous Lover'.
During the film's promotional event, director Kranthi Madhav revealed that Vijay Devarakonda was not his first choice, but landed with him after other actors did not show any interest in the film. On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda who was last seen in 'The Family Star', has three films lined up which are tentatively titled 'VD 12', 'VD 13' and 'VD 14' with directors Gautam Tinnanuri, Ravi Kiran Kola and Rahul Sankirtiyan.
