Well, we all know that films inspire the behavior of people In a certain way, and we also often see people quoting examples from film dialogues, scenes, and sometimes from its storyline due to the practical applicability of it in society.

Most of the south Indian public are familiar with Rajinikanth dialogues as they are very philosophical and stand true to everyone's life. There are few such dialogues from Puri movies as well, though they aren't philosophical but are practical & provocative that re-defined 'What Heroism Is' in Telugu cinema.

Today on account of his PuriJagannadh birthday, below is the list of popular dialogues from his movies.

Nenantha Yedavano Nake Telidu (I don't know what an idiot I'm!) – Pokiri

This dialogue from Mahesh Babu starrer superhit film 'Pokiri' talks about his character of being Rogue. This superhit film has been remade into almost all big film industries across the nation for its unique characteristics of a police officer character.

​You Know...Guntur Bolke Ek Sheher Hain? Nenu ikkada Kotaananuko…Resound Udhar Aatha!! (You know there is a city called Guntur, if I punch you here, it will resound there!)

This is again from his film 'Deshamuduru' starring Allu Arjun as a 'Super Mischief' is one of the most successful films in Allu Arjun's career. The film also surpassed the records set by the 2022 film 'Indra' and become the second highest-grossing Telugu film of that year.

​Nenu Mellaga Yelagolaga Brathikeyadaniki Raledhu…Mumbai ni ***** Poyinchadaniki Vacha!! (I didn’t come to Mumbai to lead a life somehow, but I came here to rule Mumbai!).

The businessman is a 2012 Indian action crime film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Based on a concept by Ram Gopal Varma. The film has received mixed reviews for its content but turned out to be a "wholesome package entertainer", "Puri Jagannath proving himself as a director who runs a film with quirky dialogues all through the film.

​Cinema hit ayyindhi cinema theeyadam maanesthaama…? Cinema flop, cinema ni vadhilesi vellipothaama…? (Will we stop making movies as our last film is a superhit, nor we’ll quit as our last film is a disaster, it’s our life, will continue in it no matter what..! ).

'Neninthe' is a 2008 Indian action drama film about the filmy struggles of actors and actresses written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. starring Ravi Teja in the lead role while Siya Gautham is the female lead in her debut, the dialogue tells about the passion for acting for those who come from small towns and villages.

​Tuduchukunte pothundi anukunte nootiki 99 sarlu nenu tuduchukovadaniki ready…kani nenu pothanu nukunte maatram nuvvu pothav…!! (If I think it's for fun I can bear your stupidity 99 times, but if I come to know I'm being targeted, you’ll be finished)

This one is again from 'Neninthe' where the hero goes in the protection of the heroine when the antagonist misbehaves with her, who utters "Tuduchukunte pothundi anukunte nootiki 99 sarlu nenu tuduchukovadaniki ready…kani nenu pothanu nukunte maatram nuvvu pothav…!! (If I think it's for fun I can bear your stupidity 99 times, but if I come to know I'm being targeted, you’ll be finished)".

​Commissioner koothurlu pellillu chesukoraa, vaallaki mogullu raara…? (Doesn’t Police Commissioner daughters get married? or Don’t they need guys for marriage?

This is from one of his first hits where the lead character runs behind the Police commissioner's daughter in the name of love and counters her warning saying, Doesn’t Police Commissioner daughters get married? Don’t they need guys for marriage? It turned out to be a Blockbuster. The film ran for 100 days in 36 centers. The film was a remake of the director's own 2002 Kannada movie Appu.

This is from the same movie 'Idiot' where the lead character runs behind the Police commissioner's daughter in the name of love and when the commissioner warns the hero, he counters her warning saying, "City ki entho mandi commissioner lu vastharu potharu Chantigadu yeppudu ikkade untadu, Chantigadu Local !!! ​Natho Kirikiri ante pochamma gurdi mundata pottelini kattesinatte! (Messing with me is like tying a goat in front of Maa Kali).

This one from his recent superhit titled 'ismart Shankar a science fiction action film starring Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh, and Nidhhi Agerwal. The film is that is loosely based

on 2016 American film 'Criminal and 2017 British film iBoy, was a commercial success for Hero Ram's dialogues and his dance movies.

​Main maroonga to bullet se hi maroonga ... BP ya sugar se nahi (If I die, I'll die only from a bullet ... not from blood pressure or diabetes).

This one from Amitabh Bachchan starrer film 'Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap' is a Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Puri Jagannadh in his second film in Hindi after Shart: The Challenge. The film was declared a Hit for its dialogues and action sequences.

​‘Hum jahaan khade ho jaate hain, line vahin se shuru ho jaati hai,’ (the line starts wherver I stand).

This dialogue again from the 'Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap' is uttered by the hero character, in his introductory scene of the movie. The action comedy film directed by Puri Jagannadh was a profitable venture for its dialogues and action sequences casting Amitabh in the lead role.
