It was reported that Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya was to be out on an OTT platform on July 15. But it seems that fans will have to wait for a few more days to see the film.
The movie is a remake of Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaram and was set for a July 15 release on
Netflix
. But it is now being reported that the release has been postponed. According to one of the actors of the movie, fans have to wait a little longer to watch the film. “The movie might not start streaming on July 15 as was reported earlier. There might be an official announcement about the release date soon,” he said. The reasons for the delay in release are not known as the wait for the film just gets longer.
Actor Satya Dev
is playing the role of a small town photographer which was played by
Fahadh Faasil in the Malayalam version of the film. The movie is being directed by Venkatesh Maha who impressed the audience and critics with his c/o Kancharapalem which released in the year 2018. Roopa Kodavayur will be seen opposite to Satya Dev in this film. However, nothing was announced officially from the production house.
Satya Dev was last seen in 47 days which released last month. After Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, Satya Dev is all set to act in another remake. This time it is a Kannada super hit film titled Love Mocktail. He will be acting opposite
Tamannaah
in this film and the film’s team is planning to start shooting in mid-September. Director
Nagashekar will be directing this film and music will be composed by Kaala Bhairava.
