Dr D Ramanaidu was born in Karamchedu, Madras Presidency, British India (of which the present-day Andhra Pradesh State was a part) on June 6, 1936. He died of prostate cancer at the age of 78. He is the founder of popular production house Suresh Productions. He has been in the industry for more than five decades and has backed many film stars such as Ramudu Bheemudu, Prem Nagar, Soggadu, Devata, Aha Naa Pellanta, Prema, Indrudu Chandrudu, to name a few. He holds the
Guinness World Record
for the most films bankrolled by an individual, with more than 150 films in 13 Indian languages.

Meanwhile, talking about Venkatesh’s work front, the superstar has several interesting movies in the pipeline. He will be seen playing the lead role in Anil Ravipudi directorial F3: Fun and Frustration, while he also has Srikanth Addala’s Narappa. F3 happens to be the sequel of 2019 release F2: Fun and Frustration, which featured Varun Tej, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead roles. Narappa is all set to his the marquee on May 14, 2021.
