Meena acted alongside all stalwarts of Indian cinema like
Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan,
Chiranjeevi, Krishna, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Ajith Kumar, Vijayakanth, Venkatesh, and many others. In an extensive film career spanning over three decades, the 41-year-old thespian is presently essaying character roles after starting as a child artist and gradually turning into a top heroine.
In a recent media interaction, the actress was quizzed on the on-going issue of
casting couch in Telugu cinema. Commenting on the sensitive matter, she said that women often face
sexual harassment
in their respective fields and quoted that they should rely on talent and hard work alone, while striving to acquire great heights.
“It's very unfortunate that sexual harassment is happening in all the fields. Though I haven't faced it, such tortures used to exist in our times as well. Men should change at least now. Such people need to keep in mind that they have a wife and children. Even women should rely only on their talent to reach greater heights”, she said.
Meena’s last movie in Telugu was Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s ‘Saakshyam’ where she played the mother to the protagonist. Meena’s 7-year-old daughter Nainika has also made her acting debut a couple of years ago with
