Vidya Balan, Paresh Rawal reportedly in talks to play pivotal roles in NTR biopic

The highly anticipated biopic on the life of late actor-politician,

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao

went on the floors at

Ramakrishna Studios

on March 29 in Hyderabad. The event was attended by the who’s who of Telugu filmdom who paid rich tribute to the legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

According to latest reports, the makers of the film have initiated talks with Vidya Balan and Paresh Rawal to essay key roles in the film. While Vidya has been offered the role of NTR’s wife, Paresh Rawal has been approached to play former Andhra CM Nadendla Bhaskara Rao. Both the actors are yet to give their nod. Reports also suggest that Paresh Rawal will make a cameo appearance in the film.

Reports also claim that the makers are planning to shoot the film in two parts. Apparently director Teja, after meeting several filmy, political and business personalities who were close to the late actor and felt that it will be difficult to portray NTR’s life on the silver screen in just one part and has already started planning things accordingly.
