According to the reports of Hindustan Times, the movie's release is said to be postponed for a new date as the film will clash with many other Telugu film releases. Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh's Saindhav, Ravi Teja's Eagle and Teja Sajja's Hanu Man are all releasing for Sankranthi in January 2024.

The makers have planned to push the release date as the shooting for the film is yet to be completed, and also another reason being multiple film clashes during release. However, the official announcement is yet to be made by the movie makers. The film still has one schedule shoot left in the US and as it is yet to commence, there is a delay in the post-production work.

On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda was last seen in Kushi. After Family Star, the actor has his movie VD 12 which he is filming for now. Meanwhile, Mrunal Thakur is awaiting the release of her film Hi Nanna with Nani. She also has Pooja Meri Jaan and a yet to be titled Tamil film with Sivakarthikeyan which is directed by AR Murugadoss.
