Mahanati
', 'Nota' and '
Taxiwaala
' - geared up to release in the coming months.
With so many projects coming to him all at once, Vijay was in a dilemma about what he should take up first. On Tuesday, the actor released a video about his conundrum and tells us why he chose 'Taxiwaala'.
"I had 4 super interesting scripts. I was wondering what to do first. I had a dream - 4 rowdy kids picked a script for me. I signed
#Taxiwaala the next day. Actual reconstruction of
#TheDreamBehindTaxiwaala. (sic)," Vijay posted on Twitter, along with a link to the video.
Titled, 'The Dream Behind Taxiwaala', the five-and-a-half minute long video shows a group of kids enter the actor's house and tells him to make movies they can watch ('Arjun Reddy' was A-rated). The kids then take away his beers, throw away his ice cubes and make him work out to get in better shape. While Vijay takes a shower, they select his next script —'Taxiwaala'.
Directed by Rahul Sanktriyan, Taxiwala also features
Priyanka Jawalkar and
Malavika Nair in important roles .
