Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’ written, Co-produced and directed prestigiously by Puri Jagannadh is slated to hit theatres across the globe on August 25th. The team that has been super confident about its content right from the beginning, has been promoting it very aggressively with various promotional content and back-to-back interviews.

Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Liger’ written, Co-produced and directed prestigiously by Puri Jagannadh is slated to hit theatres across the globe on August 25th. The team that has been super confident right from the begining about its content has been promoting it aggressively with various promotional material and by giving back-to-back interviews.
On the other hand, the film has also undergone its censorship yesterday and has reportedly gotten a U/A certificate with a run time of over 140 mins 20 seconds.

However, the film is said to have gotten the below 7 objections from the censor board team due to the usage of F & B words in the form of dialogues and signs in various film sequences.

'Liger' is a sports action film in which Vijay is playing the titular role of an MMA boxer fighter. Ananya Panday plays the female lead and his love interest in the film that also has Ronit Roy, Ramya Krishnan and American boxer Mike Tyson (extended cameo) play other important characters in the film.
Vijay Deverakonda makes his Hindi film debut with this film that has its music composed by Tanishk Bagchi and Vikram Montrose while its background score is taken care of by Sunil Kashyap. Cinematographer Vishnu Sarma shot the film and Junaid Siddiqui edited it.
The film which is said to be made with a whopping budget of Rs 180 crores, will be released in all major languages across the country and overseas in its dubbed versions along with its original version. The film's satellite rights are purchased by the Star India network, while its digital rights were bagged by an International OTT platform.
