Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'VD12' to get a new release date? Find out

Actor Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen on the big screens in the upcoming tentatively titled, 'VD12' which is directed by 'Jersey' fame Gowtam Tinnanuri. The movie has been in the production phase and will be announced to be released on March 28th, 2025. However recent reports suggest the film to get postponed.

As per the report by 123Telugu, 'VD12' is now expected to hit the big theatres on May 30th, 2025. However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the same.

Despite facing challenges during production, including a minor injury sustained while filming an intense action sequence, Vijay has remained committed to the project and has continued working without taking a break. This determination comes as he aims to make a strong comeback following some setbacks with his previous films.

The film is reportedly nearing completion, with approximately 80% of the shooting already done. Earlier Producer Naga Vamsi shared that VD12', will be made in two parts, each featuring a unique storyline. This means that audiences can expect two separate films that contribute to a larger narrative.

'VD12' is expected to feature actress Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.

Earlier on Vijay's birthday, the makers released the poster showcasing him in a side profile, appearing to shout at the sky while heavy rain pours down around him. With short hair and a thick beard, his look conveys raw energy and intensity.

The film's music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is expected to be released in multiple languages.
