The two actors are rumored to share the screen in director Rahul Sankrityan's upcoming film, tentatively titled 'VD14'. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film will be much more than just a commercial entertainer. Reports suggest that the narrative will be "a rooted story with a blend of edgy writing and strong emotions". Action will also be a very important aspect of the film's overall narrative.


Rahul Sankrityan previously collaborated with Vijay on the 2018 hit 'Taxiwala'. The music of the film is composed by Ajay-Atul.
