‘
Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi
' starring
Ram Pothineni,
Lavanya Tripathi and
Anupama Parameswaran hit the screens today. The film directed by
Kishore Tirumala has Ram essaying the role of Abhi, a simple and straightforward guy, who's clear about what he wants in life. His best friend Vasu (Sree Vishnu) is his whole world and since childhood they have been together through thick and thin. As the film progresses, enters Maha (Anupama Parameswaran), a house surgeon, whose life is torn between her parents' expectations and what she wants from life.
The first half takes its time in establishing these characters. The screenplay doesn’t hurry in instituting the friendship between Abhi and Vasu and Maha's budding relationship with Abhi. Few scenes however, seem to have been put just for the sake of it. The first half manages to tell an adorable tale of friendship and budding love until two twists tear everything apart and shake things up. Lavanya Tripathi, who plays Maggie, is nowhere to be seen yet so it would be interesting to see how she is weaved into the story in the second half.
