As per Tollywood’s film circle reports yes, ‘RRR’ film that is in the Oscar nominations list under the 'Best Original Song category' for its ‘Naatu-Naatu’ song at the 95th Academy awards is likely to have the film re-released in India ahead of Oscar results. As the 2023 Oscar event will be held on the 12th of March, it is reported that the ‘RRR’ film get released once again in a few selected theatres across the Telugu states during the Oscar weekend.
The makers are reportedly looking out for its theatres' list, language versions and timings for its re-release.
It is known that the ‘RRR’ has created history by being the first Indian and a regional film to be nominated for Oscars under the ‘Best Original Song’ category at the 95th Academy Awards besides winning several prestigious International awards such as Golden Globe and 14 other awards.
The epic action drama film directed by SS.Rajamouli is co-written by V.Vijayendra Prasad starring Jr.NTR, Ram Charan in the lead roles, while Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Shriya Saran played other important roles in the film. The film also featured International actors Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris that tells the fictional story of two real-life Indian revolutionaries such as Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao).
