'Saaho' actor Prabhas bridges distance with his rumoured girlfriend Anushka Shetty, here's how
A few months ago, there were reports of Prabhas and Anushka Shetty breaking up. This had left their die-hard fans heartbroken as everyone wanted the Baahubali to unite with his Devasena in real-life as well. But, looks like the two are all set to put rest to these rumours.
As to fresh reports, the rumoured couple is still very much in love. In fact, Prabhas’ hectic schedule of ‘Saaho’ for which he has been shooting in Abu Dhabi has not affected their love at all. Reports also cited that the Telugu actor tries his level best to be available for his rumoured ladylove and takes breaks to video call her in between his shoots.
Prabhas will be seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time in ‘Saaho’. From its cast to plot, everything about the action-drama has been making headlines for almost a year now. Recently, a few pictures of Prabhas’ were leaked on the internet where the actor was seen riding a bike. Apart from Shraddha and Prabhas, the movie also stars Evelyn Sharma and Neil Nitin Mukesh in pivotal roles.
PIC: Prabhas' fans can’t get enough of his clean shaven look
In a picture that has been going viral on social media, Prabhas can be seen sporting a clean shaven look. Wearing a pair of shades and a cap the star is almost unrecognisable as he flashes his coy smile for the camera. According to many online posts, this click might just be the first time that fans have seen the actor without any facial hair.
This picture was reportedly clicked during his short trip to the USA. On the professional front, the Tollywood hunk will be next seen in the trilingual film titled ‘Saaho’
‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas is a very private person in real life
Spent three years for Baahubali
Spent four years for Baahubali
Before ‘Baahubali,’ the last film that the Tollywood hunk worked on was ‘Mirchi,’ way back in 2013! Since then, the actor has dedicated all his time and energy to SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus. Considering the physical training, combat training, and stunt coordination and shooting for both the parts, it took around four years for Prabhas to finish his commitment to the franchise. Till then, he did not sign a single film and focused singularly on this project.
Trained by Mr World for Baahubali
Prabhas has always been a bit of a lanky actor. For ‘Baahubali’ though, he had to bulk up seriously. He underwent a massive transformation as he went from 82 kilos to a whopping 102 kilos in a matter of few months. To achieve this, he was trained by none other than Mr World 2010, Laxman Reddy. Not just that, the makers of the film gave him gym equipment worth Rs 1.5 crores, which he installed in his house and trained there itself.
Didn't attain success till his third film
There have been many one-hit wonders in Tollywood but stars often struggle initially till they achieve success at some point. Same has been the case with Prabhas. He began his career with ‘Eeshwar’ which didn’t do as well as he would have wanted it to. Neither did his next one ‘Raghavendra.’ It was ‘Varsham,’ that released in 2004, that actually made Prabhas a popular actor and a rising star. Although, after he achieved stardom, his fans also started relishing his older work.
Bollywood debut before 'Baahubali'
Everyone in the country knows Prabhas from ‘Baahubali: The Beginning.’ However, they forget his Bollywood debut, which happened in 2014 itself. He actually had a guest appearance in Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer, ‘Action Jackson.’ Prabhas appeared briefly in the song, ‘Punjabi Mast’ as he shook a leg with Sonakshi. So technically, this makes ‘Baahubali’ his second Bollywood movie.
Big fan of Rajkumar Hirani and Robert De Niro
Prabhas is a self-confessed fan of director Rajkumar Hirani and revealed that he has watched ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and ‘3 Idiots’ almost twenty times! When it comes to Hollywood, the ‘Baahubali’ hunk is a big fan of Robert De Niro and when it comes to Telugu cinema, his favourite movie is ‘Bhakta Kannappa’ starring his uncle, Krishnam Raju. It looks like he has got his inspiration right.
Well educated
Coming from a family with a cinema background, Prabhas could have easily just jumped into the spotlight. But he decided to focus on his education first. All engineers around the country will now be proud to know that Prabhas is also a B.E. degree holder and an engineer just like them. He did his engineering from Sri Chaitanya College in Hyderabad. So this handsome actor is not all looks but is also pretty intelligent.
Devoted to family
Even after being such a star, Prabhas is very grounded. In fact, he is very close to his family and especially to his mother. Not a day goes by without him spending some quality time with her. It is truly incredible to see someone do that in a day and age when the concept of family is fast becoming obsolete.
Prabhas installed a volleyball court in his backyard for ‘Baahubali’
It is a well-known fact that Tollywood hunk Prabhas bulked up immensely for the epic 'Baahubali' franchise. However, apart from pumping iron, the star also took up volleyball as a sport to keep him agile and to keep his reflexes sharp. Soon, the sport became an integral part of his physical training for the films. It turns out that Prabhas enjoyed playing volleyball so much, that he became an expert and even went on to install a sand court in his backyard, to play the sport at leisure. Other than this, Prabhas also took up rock climbing, sword fighting and archery to perfect his role for the ‘Baahubali’ franchise.
