The Baidyanath temple, also known as the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple, is a Hindu temple complex housing the central shrine of Baba Baidyanath along with 21 additional temples. Ancient texts like the Vaidyanatham Chitabhoomau and Shivamaha Puran Shatarudra Samhita have pinpointed the location of the Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga. One verse from these texts pays homage to Vaidyanatha, whose lotus feet are revered by both asuras and devas, residing in a place of eternal radiance in the northeast of Chitabhoomi, accompanied by his consort Parvathi.
