‘No calls. No emails. Just silence’: IIM graduate claims she spent ₹75,000 relocating, found ‘no office’ in Delhi, then got ‘blocked’ by CEO

A young MBA graduate’s account of relocating for a new job, only to allegedly find no operational office at the address shared with her, has sparked widespread discussion online.

The claims first surfaced through a LinkedIn post that has since been widely reshared across social media, with many users linking the incident to concerns around hiring transparency, onboarding delays, and the risks fresh graduates sometimes face while starting new roles.

While the woman’s identity could not be independently verified by The Times of India, as her name is not visible in the circulating posts, the claims have triggered debate online over employer communication and relocation costs.

What the woman alleged in her post

According to the viral post, the woman identified herself as a 2026 MBA graduate from IIM Bodh Gaya who had reportedly received a job offer and a joining date from a company.

She alleged that after relocating to Delhi for the role, she discovered there was no functioning office at the address shared with her. The post further claimed that she spent nearly ₹75,000 on relocation and related expenses during the process.

The woman wrote that after attempting to contact company representatives, she was informed that the office was “out of lease.”

Claims of onboarding delays and repeated assurances

The woman further alleged that she was repeatedly assured that onboarding formalities were in progress. According to her account, she was told that her employee ID was being processed and that work-from-home arrangements would begin shortly.

However, she later claimed she was informed that onboarding would not take place before July.

In the post, the woman suggested that clearer communication earlier in the process could have helped her avoid financial strain and logistical difficulties linked to relocation.

Company named in viral post

The posts circulating online mention PIB Insurance Brokers Private Limited and refer to the company’s MD and CEO, Virendra Pandey.

The woman also alleged that communication was stopped after she raised concerns regarding relocation compensation that had reportedly been discussed earlier.
