Rekha Gupta



Rekha Gupta has been named the new Chief Minister of Delhi after a strong victory from the Shalimar Bagh constituency, where she won by 29,595 votes. Her win marks the beginning of an important leadership role in the capital.

Born on July 19, 1974, Gupta started her political journey at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. She joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in 1992 and later became President of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) in 1996.

She entered mainstream politics in 2007 as an MCD Councillor, focusing on women’s welfare and child development. Over the years, she held important positions in the party, including General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha and National Executive Member.

Atishi Marlena Singh


Atishi Marlena Singh served as Delhi’s Chief Minister from September 21, 2024, to February 8, 2025, following her impactful work in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
