White House Press Secretary recently became a mother for a second time. She announced the birth of her daughter Viviana on May 1st. Taking to Instagram, she wrote "On May 1st, Viviana aka 'Vivi' joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love," Leavitt said in a post on Instagram. While taking questions he said that the US and Iran have made a lot of progress in their talks and neither side wants to see a resumption of the military campaign. “We think that we’ve made a lot of progress. We think the Iranians want to make a deal,” Vance told reporters at a White House briefing.Moving further, he was asked about him filling in for Leavitt when he joked that he had asked her to temporarily take over his job when his wife, Usha Vance gives birth later this year.Political commentator Eric Daugherty shared a clip of the moment on X, joking that Vance agreed to step in as the press secretary on "ONE CONDITION."
