Social media creator Chandrika Dixit aka the 'vada pav girl' has recently been in the spotlight, not for her content or television appearances, but because of a personal video she shared on Instagram. In the video, Chandrika spoke about problems in her marriage and accused her husband, Yugam Gera, of being involved with another woman.

Following her claims and his response, Yugam Gera, who had largely stayed away from public attention, has now become a topic of discussion online.

Who is Yugam Gera?

Yugam Gera is Chandrika Dixit’s husband and has mostly maintained a low profile compared to his wife. He creates content on social media, focusing on gym-related videos and short vlogs from his daily life. He has more than 130,000 followers on Instagram.

Until recently, Yugam was not widely known outside Chandrika’s online audience. That changed after Chandrika’s emotional video went viral and Yugam posted his own response.

Chandrika’s allegations against Yugam

In her Instagram video, Chandrika appeared emotional as she spoke about what she said she had been dealing with for over two months. She accused Yugam of being involved with another woman and questioned why she had remained silent for so long.

“What do you want to show the world? Our fights?” she said in the video. “What I have been tolerating for the last two months… it has been more than two months, and I wasn’t saying anything.”

She also shared screenshots of chats that she claimed were between Yugam and another woman, along with photos of Yugam with the woman. Writing “Saboot mere paas bhi hai,” Chandrika suggested that she has proof to support her allegations.

Speaking about the emotional strain, she said she was managing work, the household, and taking care of their children, while questioning her husband’s actions.

Yugam Gera’s response

After Chandrika’s video gained attention, Yugam Gera shared a video responding to the allegations. In his statement, he said that he also has evidence related to the situation.

Yugam admitted that he made a mistake but claimed that it was not as serious as it was being portrayed online. He did not share further details in his video.

The videos from both Chandrika and Yugam quickly spread across social media platforms. Many users expressed shock at the public fallout, while others extended support to Chandrika.

Several users also called for clarity and accountability as clips and screenshots from the videos continued to circulate online.

Their relationship and family

According to media reports, including the Economic Times, Chandrika Dixit and Yugam Gera first met in Delhi, after Chandrika moved there from Indore. Chandrika has earlier mentioned that Yugam supported her through her journey leading up to Bigg Boss OTT 3.

The couple has a young son named Rudra.

At the time of publishing, no further clarification had been issued by either Chandrika Dixit or Yugam Gera.
