Realme has announced that it will launch Realme Buds Air successor via an online event on May 25. The announcement was made by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth via a post on Twitter. In the tweet, he also confirmed the name of the upcoming device as Realme Buds Air Neo.
“We have achieved the 1 Million Units milestone for smart audio AIoT products...And now with the #realmeBudsAirNeo we are planning to bring a lifestyle change for the youth of today....Watch the unveiling at 12:30PM, 25th May,” read Sheth’s tweet.
For those unaware, the company has already scheduled an event for 12:30 pm on May 25 where it will unveil its first smartwatch and first smart TV. Realme has been teasing Realme watch and Realme TV via a series of posts on the microblogging platform Twitter. As per the latest teaser, the upcoming smart TV will come preinstalled with video streaming apps like Prime Video, Youtube and Netflix. Users will be able to download other apps via Google Play store. The TV is a Google certified Android TV, the company has confirmed.
The TV is said to come with Chroma Boost Picture engine to provide an ultra-bright display with up to 400 nits. It will be powered by a MediaTek (unknown) processor and will come with Dolby Sound support, Realme has revealed. It will come with 24W quad stereo speakers. The upcoming TV is listed on Flipkart which means that that the TV will be available exclusively on the e-commerce site along with Realme.com.
Realme smartwatch, on the other hand, is rumoured to come with a 1.4-inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with 320x320 screen resolution. Online reports have also suggested that the smartwatch will be backed by a 160mAh battery.
