Samsung Galaxy S24, OnePlus 12 and 13 other biggest gadgets launched in January 2024

The first month of the year 2024 started on a big note in terms of gadget launches. January 2024 saw smartphone brands including Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo and others launch devices in the Indian market. Other than the phones, the month also saw some interesting launches in smartwatch, headphones and laptop categories. Here's a list of the biggest gadget launches of January 2024.

Samsung launched three new smartphones under the Galaxy S24 lineup, the vanilla Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra models. Starting at Rs 1,29,999, the Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 200MP camera. All smartphones in the lineup are now available for purchase

The OnePlus 12 series includes two smartphones -- the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R. The flagship OnePlus 12 smartphone that starts at Rs 64,999 and is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is now available for customers. However, the less-expensive OnePlus 12R starts at Rs 39,999 and will be available in the coming days.

OnePlus launched its latest TWS earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 3 along with its latest flagship smartphone series. The OnePlus Buds 3 is priced at Rs 5,499.

The Oppo Reno 11 series includes two smartphones -- the Oppo Reno 11 and the Oppo Reno 11 Pro smartphones. Starting at Rs 29,999, these new 5G smartphones sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED screen and run Android 14 operating system. Both models also house a 32MP telephoto lens and a 32MP selfie camera.

The Vivo X100 series includes two models -- the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro smartphones. Starting at Rs 63,999, the smartphones feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and the company’s in-house image processing chip. The smartphones sport a 3D Curved AMOLED Full HD+ displays and supports up to 120W fast charging speeds.

This smartphone lineup includes three models -- the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The most expensive Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model starts at Rs 31,999 and sports an OLED display. The smartphone also features the Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, 200MP camera and 120W fast charging.

The Realme 12 Pro series includes two models-- the Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro Plus. Starting at Rs 29,999, the more expensive Pro Plus variant comes with a 64MP periscope lens and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Both smartphones in the series sport a 120Hz Full HD+ display and support 67W fast charging.

Sony’s latest neckband-style headphones position the speaker near the ear canal but leaves it uncovered. This eliminates the pressure on the ears and prevents users from worrying about chafing. The earbuds are available in a single Black colour variant and are priced at Rs 10,990.

This new laptop sports a 120Hz OLED touchscreen that supports 3K resolution and starts at Rs 99,990. Asus Zenbook 14 OLED also features USB Type-C charging and is available at e-commerce sites Amazon and Flipkart.

This entry-level smartphone starts at Rs 8,999 and sports an HD+ display. The Moto G24 Power features a MediaTek chipset backed by up to 8GB RAM and packs a 6,000mAh battery unit.

The Poco X6 series includes two smartphones -- the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro. The Pro variant in the lineup is the first phone to run Xiaomi’s newly-announced Android 14-based HypeOS skin. Starting at Rs 21,999, the Poco X6 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and runs the Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin.

Priced at Rs 7,499, the Infinix Smart 8 Pro smartphone houses a 50MP camera and packs a 5,000mAh battery unit. The smartphone also sports a 90Hz HD+ display and runs on Android 13 Go operating system.
