Aaghaz-e-Dosti
has decided to launch the 8th Indo-Pak Peace Calendar in Delhi on January 11. On the occasion a seminar ‘Sharing of Hopes’ will also be organised.

Mittal said that “Aaghaz-e-Dosti is a cross border Indo-Pak friendship initiative, which launches Indo-Pak Peace calendars every year. This calendar is a collection of selected paintings of school students from India and
Pakistan. This calendar also carries messages from 12 noted personalities from both countries who favour Indo-Pak peace. The importance of the calendar is that it is a collection of shared dreams and hopes for friendship."

"The peace calendar is one of Aaghaz-e-Dosti's peace education activities in schools and colleges. The purpose of these activities is to enable future leaders to forge the path towards a better world by engaging them with aspects of critical thinking, civic engagement, and dialogue as solutions", said Aaghaz-e-Dosti activist Pragya Narang.
