LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party chief

Yadav on Sunday said BJP leaders are talking about terrorism in their election speeches when the common man is looking for solutions to rising fuel prices and unemployment.

He said this was being done to divert attention from the main issues.

“Chunav ho raha hai Unnao mein, aur baat kar rahe

He addressed public meetings in Ayodhya and Barabanki where he appealed to the people to vote for SP candidates in their respective areas.

His statement came in apparent reference to BJP leadership accusing the SP of supporting terrorists.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public meeting in Hardoi on Sunday, accused the SP government of trying to withdraw cases against a terror accused and accused the party of being kind to terrorists.

Promising to fill up vacancies in a time bound manner if the SP government is formed, Akhilesh said BJP has left 11 lakh vacancies in the state and had thus deprived 11 lakh youth of a dignified livelihood for five years for reasons best known to the BJP.

“The government went to the Supreme Court to ensure that 69,000 protesting teachers did not get a job. This is how it (BJP) has kept them away from employment,” he said.
