Nanda Jichhkar, had gone to meet the city police chief BK Upadhyay on Wednesday demanding action against Jaideep and Nagpur Congress candidate Nana Patole. But the city police had registered the offence, made the arrest and released the accused on bail before their visit . Jichkar said making a slur on the 'bindi' was tantamount to outraging the modesty of Indian women.
