NEW DELHI: Diphu Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 14 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the state of Assam.

The Diphu (ST) constituency, previously designated as the Autonomous District, has undergone restructuring as part of the recent delimitation process conducted by the Election Commission of India. This process involved renaming and realigning specific assembly segments within the constituency. The Diphu (ST) constituency retains its reservation for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Candidates list

In the first phase of polls held on Friday, Assam recorded a voter turnout of 75.95% across five parliamentary constituencies in the state.

Lok Sabha 2019 election result
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Horen Sing Bey, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party, secured victory in the Diphu (formerly Autonomous District) constituency with a total of 381,316 votes. Biren Singh Engti from the Indian National Congress was the runner-up, receiving a total of 141,690 votes.

Voting date and result
The Diphu Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled to vote on 26th April 2024, with the Election Commission announcing results on 4th June, as per their statement on March 16.
