Hardcore drug smuggler held in Udhampur, Rs 6 cr worth heroin seized

JAMMU: Police arrested a Kashmir-based hardcore drug smuggler and seized 700 grams of heroin worth Rs 6 crore from his possession during a routine vehicle check in Chenani of Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Monday.
“We are questioning the accused, Ashraf from Kulgam, to unearth the drug smuggling racket. We have urged locals to inform police if they have any information related to the racket,” police said.
