Same-sex marriage remains a call for future
The Supreme Court on October 17 refused to grant legal recognition to same-sex marriage under the Special Marriage Act, saying that it is within Parliament's ambit to change the law. Silkyara miracle: Workers successfully rescued after 17 days

Breaking barriers: Parliament passes Women's reservation bill
"A defining moment in our nation's democratic journey," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on September 22 as Rajya Sabha passed the historic women's reservation bill with 214 MPs voting in favour and none against.
