With studios closed, they have been shooting their own videos and sharing them with subscribers on paid sites. The most popular artistes are raking in many thousands of dollars every month.
“Performers across the industry say their income has steadily increased... established stars and savvy amateurs alike are taking their work directly to fans... editing and selling their own videos... It signifies a shift in power from the porn studios to talent,” The Ringer says.
