IIT Bhilai and DAAD Germany sign MoU for faculty exchanges

RAIPUR: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai and DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst/German Academic Exchange Service), Germany, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the exchange of faculty members between IIT Bhilai and Germany.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the German Embassy in New Delhi, where Professor Rajiv Prakash, Director of IIT Bhilai, and Dr. Rukmankesh, Faculty in charge of International Affairs, along with DAAD Deputy Secretary General Dr Michael Harms, formally exchanged the MoU documents to facilitate faculty exchange programs between IIT Bhilai and esteemed German Higher Education Institutes.

DAAD and IIT Bhilai recognize the reciprocal benefits of academic and scientific cooperation between scientists from both countries in areas of mutual scientific interest and aim to promote friendly relations between the two parties. The bilateral exchange program's goal, between DAAD and IIT Bhilai, is to promote collaboration between them and German universities or research institutions.
