PM Modi to inaugurate 'Rudraksh' convention center in Varanasi

The two-storey convention centre has come up at posh Sigra area on 2.87 hectares of land and has a seating capacity of 1,200 people.

The 'Rudraksh' convention centre would show a glimpse of the wonderful and ancient city of Kashi. In this convention centre, 108 Rudrakshas have been installed.
The roof of the project is shaped like Shiva Linga and the entire building will glow with LED lights at night.

‘Rudraksha', will be a well-equipped convention centre, comprising of the main hall with a full flying tower, a seating capacity of 1,200, a gallery, meeting rooms, and parking for 120 cars. VCC is also planned to be an environment-friendly building and it will be equipped with adequate security and safety systems, with a regular entrance, a service entrance and a separate VIP entrance.

Prime Minister Modi is also set to inaugurate the maternal & child health unit at the Banaras Hindu University after his visit to Varanasi tomorrow.

On his trip to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the regional institute of ophthalmology.

Along with the maternal & child health unit at BHU and the regional institute of ophthalmology, PM Modi will also inaugurate Ro-Ro ferry services on the Ganga river.
