SRINAGAR: J&K police on Sunday claimed that the conspiracy behind

’s killing at Shahgund in Bandipora in north Kashmir has been unearthed following the arrest of four overground workers (OGWs) -- those who help militants through logistical support.


IGP Vijay Kumar said the conspiracy behind Lone's killing was hatched by LeT (TRF).

On October 2, one of the OGWs who was known to the victim, called Lone for a meeting and a trap was laid there by the other members of the module. Once the victim reached the spot, he was assassinated, Kumar said.
