PM Modi is pioneer and architect of Vibrant Gujarat Summit: Chief minister

"Vibrant Summit's pioneer and architect PM Modi has described the Summit as a platform for business bonding as well as binding. Today, the presence of you all here is a proof of it," CM Bupendra Patel said. Adani Group to invest Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat in next five years: Gautam Adani

Richest Asian Gautam Adani on Wednesday announced a Rs 2 lakh crore investment in Gujarat over the next five years, largely in setting up the world's largest clean energy project that will be visible even from space. Tata to build semiconductor factory in Gujarat: N Chandrasekaran

Tata Group will build a semiconductor factory at Dholera in Gujarat, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said on Wednesday. Speaking at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit here, he said the group is about to start a 20 GW gigafactory for manufacturing lithium ion batteries in Sanand in two months. The group, he said, has also made a commitment and is on the verge of concluding, and announcing a "huge semiconductor fab" in Dholera. Maruti to invest Rs 35,000 crore to set up second manufacturing plant in Gujarat: Toshihiro Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) will invest Rs 35,000 crore to set up its second manufacturing facility in Gujarat as it looks to ramp up annual production capacity to over 40 lakh units by 2030-31, Suzuki Motor Corporation President Toshihiro Suzuki said on Wednesday. AM/NS to build world's largest single location integrated steel plant in gujarat: lakshmi mittal

Lakshmi Mittal on Wednesday announced that ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) is building the world's largest single location integrated steel plant at Gujarat's Hazira. Mittal, the executive chairman of global steel major ArcelorMittal which operates the JV in India with Japan's Nippon, said the plant will have a capacity of producing 24 million tonne of crude steel, and should be ready by 2029. DP World to build container terminal in Gujarat: chairman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem

Global logistics management and services firm DP World will build a container terminal in Gujarat and is committed to further investments in India, the company's Chairman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said on Wednesday. Sanjay Mehrotra thanks PM Modi for opening up the country to semiconductor manufacturing

S anjay Mehrotra, CEO of US chip manufacturing giant Micron, thanked the Prime Minister for his vision to open up the country to semiconductor manufacturing. He said that it will become a huge economic driver in the future as India marches forward to become the third largest economy in the world. He said that the first phase of his company’s semiconductor facility in Gujarat covering an area of 500,000 sq feet will be operational by early 2025 thereby creating 5,000 direct jobs and 15,000 additional community jobs over the coming years. “Combined investment by Micron and Government over both phases could reach up to 2.75 billion US Dollars,” Sanjay Mehrotra said.
