PM stakes claim to form govt
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Murmu and staked his claim to form government.
'18th Lok Sabha a milestone'
"This 18th Lok Sabha is an important milestone towards fulfilling those dreams when the country will celebrate the 100 years of independence in 2047," Modi said. He added that he has informed the President that they will be comfortable if the event is held on the evening of June 9.
'Every BJP karyakarta inspired by LK Advani'
Before staking his claim to form government, PM Modi met LK Advani and handed him flowers. "Went to Advani ji's residence and sought his blessings. Every BJP karyakarta is inspired by Advani ji's monumental efforts to strengthen the party," Modi later said in a post on X.
