Rain, thunderstorms in parts of Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Rain accompanied with thunderstorms was recorded at some places in eastern and western Rajasthan, the meteorological department said. In the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Friday, light to moderate rain was recorded in some districts, including Sirohi and Ganganagar.

The highest rainfall of 48 mm was logged in Dhabaan of Hanumangarh, followed by 44.4 mm in Mount Abu, the Jaipur Meteorological Centre said.

Additionally, rain occurred at many places in Alwar, Barmer, Udaipur, and Dungarpur districts, with the highest temperature of 35.6 degrees in Phalodi.

According to the weather office, rain activities are likely to revive next week.
