Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the death of noted folk singer Sharda Sinha and termed it an irreparable loss for the world of music. "Humble tribute to her! Through her excellent traditional singing, she served many folk languages including Maithili, Bhojpuri and folk culture and brought her respect on the national stage," he wrote on X.
