<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">NEW DELHI: The Delhi court hearing the Shivani Bhatnagar murder case on Saturday issued notice to Crime Branch DCP M S Upadhyay asking him to appear before it to answer the charge by the prime accused R K Sharma that police was harassing his family members.<br />Perusing Sharma''s application that the Crime Branch slueths under orders of the DCP were continuing "illegal, intimidating and harrassing" tactics, Metropolitan Magistrate J P Narain asked Upadhyay to appear in court on December 11.<br />Sharma, whose name figures as main accused in the murder of the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Indian Express</span> journalist alleged that the DCP was still sending personnel to the residence of his daughter and sister-in-law and keeping a tab on their movements.<br />The accused also expressed apprehension that police were tapping the telephones of his family members and intimidating and threatening the witnesses.<br />On a seperate submission by counsel for accused Pradeep Sharma, the court directed police to supply him copies of photographs of the scene of crime.<br />The court also allowed a plea by the accused for more time to scrutinise the documents before the case is committed for trial to a sessions court and gave them time till December 11 for the same.<br />Meanwhile, the magistrate also extended the jucidial remand of R K Sharma and other accused Pradeep Sharma, Sri Bhagwan Sharma, Satya Prakash, Ved Prakash Sharma, Ved alias Kalu till December 11, after they were produced on expiry of judicial custody on Saturday.
