“Suspected terrorists fired some rounds on the patrol party in a forward village in Keri sector, barely 800-900m from the LoC, around 2pm. Army personnel retaliated effectively,” said an official source.

Last month, alert Army troops had foiled an infiltration bid along the LoC in Poonch and killed two terrorists on January 30.
