Actress-author Twinkle Khanna is back with a new book this year, after a hiatus of five years. Twinkle's new book, her fourth, titled ‘Welcome to Paradise’ was launched with Karan Johar with at Taj Lands End, Mumbai on November 29, 2023.
‘Welcome to Paradise’ is a collection of short stories centred around women who are at a crossroads in their lives, dealing with the themes of love, marriage, loneliness, etc. The stories are written in Twinkle's trademark style of wit and humour. These stories in ‘Welcome to Paradise’ in someway pay homage to Twinkle's Ismaili nani and the world she inhabited.
Talking about her new book, Twinkle Khanna said, “'Welcome to Paradise' is a collection of stories that explores the depths of heartbreak, relationships, and deception. And yes, it does have pigs and penises as promised, among all the love, lust, laughter and loneliness.”
At the launch of the book, Twinkle was in conversation with Karan Johar. And the book readings were done by actors Shabana Azmi, Kiara Advani and Vidya Balan.
