Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is an avid reader. Following the popularity of her book recommendations in 2020, Camilla has now launched a book club styled online reading room called The Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room, Clarence House announced recently on Instagram. Clarence House is one of the official British Royal residences in London, England and its social media handle shares the life and works of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

Sharing the news, Clarence House posted:

The Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room will offer book recommendations every season. It will also provide "exclusive insight from the authors themselves, in a community space for book lovers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds" the post read.

Camilla's first book recommendations for the winter season will be announced on January 15, 2021 through a dedicated Instagram account for it.

Meanwhile, the Duchess has interviewed author-illustrator Charlie Mackesy for his book 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse'. The book is picked by Camilla as a New Year recommendation.

In 2020, Camilla had recommended a few books to fellow readers including 'Restless' by William Boyd, 'The Secret Commonwealth' by Philip Pullman, and 'The Architect's Apprentice' by Elif Shafak.
