Madhur Jaffrey

Actress- bestselling celebrity cookbook author Madhur Jaffrey is known for introducing Indian cooking to Americans in the 70s. Her first book titled An Invitation to Indian Cookery was published in 1973. Since then she has penned more than 15 cookbooks including Madhur Jaffrey's Ultimate Curry Bible and Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian. She is a self-proclaimed "actress who cooks".
The USP of her books: In-depth researches, she tests recipes and writes her books entirely on her own.

Maria Goretti

Maria Goretti's debut book From My Kitchen To Yours: Food, Love And Other Ingredients is a compilation of recipes straight from her kitchen, exactly the way she makes them. The recipes use local ingredients and are simple to understand and make. She revealed in an interview that though she procrastinated for six months before penning it down, it took her two and a half years to finish writing the book. The book is published by Om Books International and is priced at INR 627 (hardcover).

Gwyneth Paltrow

Academy award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is a best-selling cookbook author of four books. It's All Easy is her fourth book which was released in 2016. The cookbook has 125 recipes and are "surprisingly tasty, with little or no sugar, fat, or gluten." What's more, Gwyneth has dedicated the fourth cookbook to some of her famous friends' children.

Actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty Kundra turned an author in 2015 with her debut book The Great Indian Diet which talks about the goodness of eating local and Indian. The actress, who is known to be health conscious, co-authored the book with Luke Coutinho, an international health expert and lifestyle coach. Published by Random House, the book is priced at INR 299.
